One Way Ride to Woodside / Pescadero / Palo Alto on Nov 8

We have a really exciting ride planned for November 8 that will take us to the South Bay venturing up and over some truly beautiful and challenging climbs.  It will be a long day on the bike but we will do our best to keep it manageable for varying rider fitness levels.  Throughout the ride we will have planned rests for food and coffee but it will be necessary to come prepared with spare tubes, patch kit, water and food.

The planned route will take us south on Skyline Blvd connecting with Canada Rd and leading to our first rest stop in Woodside, Ca.  We will break at Roberts Market where you can find water and snacks.  From here we will make our first of two climbs for the day up Kings Mountain rd to Skyline Blvd.  We will then descend 14km on Tunitas Creek Rd all the way down to Highway One and the Pacific Ocean.  We will turn left and travel only a couple miles to Stage Rd where we will go left.  We will ride this to Pescadero for our second stop at Downtown Local.  In this town there is options for lunch and coffee so you can take your pick.  Upon leaving we will head east on Pesacdero Creek Rd slowly making our way to the days featured climb of Alpine Rd.  This climb will take us back to the top of the ridge and Skyline Blvd.  We will then descend down Page Mill all the way in to Palo Alto and the CalTrain station.  As a group we can decide about a celebratory drink before boarding the train for our return to SF.

We anticipate the ride time to be roughly 6 hrs but total time for the trip will be around 8hrs.

+ Bespoke would like to remind riders to obey all posted traffic laws and ride at a pace congruent with the group.  When in traffic or with limited shoulder please ride single file.
